概要

グラフデータパネルでは、グラフで使用するシリーズの選択肢が表示され、またシリーズのスタイルを編集するオプションも表示されます。In the chart data panel you will be prompted to select the series you wish to use in your chart and also edit the series style options.

データの選択

Having selected your chart type, the data selection panel will be refreshed to display the appropriate options for the chart time.

1. Select the data you wish to use for your report as prompted by the available options - see the table below for more detail on the definition of these.
   Note: if you have more than 1 dimension in your report data Yellowfin will automatically aggregate the data in the report to accurately chart the label dimension selected. This is a very powerful way for you to visualise and gain insight into your data.
2. Once you have selected the fields you wish to use click the refresh link to display the selected series in the Series Settings edit panel.

The following table displays the data selection options for the various types of charts that you select.

Label The label is the field in your data set that has the reference codes that match your layer data. Colour The colour you wish to use as the maximum colour variable.

Animation

Charts that are built with a date or datetime field available will have an Animation option displayed in the Chart Data area.

Animation uses a date field to slice up the chart into frames, much like a section slices up a table into sub tables. Simply select the date field, such as Year, as the animation field and Yellowfin will create a frame per year value. When you return to the report preview page you will be able to play the animation or step through using the navigation buttons.

It is also recommended that you change the Chart Title option to display the Animation Field, rather than the Report Name, in order to provide the report writer with a label for each frame.

Note: The animation option will only be available if a date field has been used in the report. It's also important to remember to use a date field that won't create too many frames, as animation is meant for high level data, like year rather than day.

Series Settings

Once you have select the series you wish to apply the selected series will be displayed in the series settings panel.

The series setting panel lets you set the style and colours of selected series. Although defaults are applied you can change these by managing the individual series.

The choices available for your series settings will vary based on the chart type selected and whether Conditional Formatting has been applied to your data.

If a series has conditional formatting applied to it you will have the option for appropriate charts to display these on the chart in a variety of styles.

グラフのタイプを選択すると、データの選択パネルが更新されてグラフの種類に適したオプションが表示されます。

1. 使用可能なオプションが表示されたらレポートに使用するデータを選択します。この設定の詳細については、以下の表を参照してください。
   注意： レポートのデータに1つ以上のディメンション（次元）がある場合、Yellowfinでは自動的にレポートのデータを選択されたラベルディメンション（次元）を使用して正確にグラフに集約します。これは、データを視覚化する際やデータを理解する際の非常に強力な方法になります。

アニメーション

使用可能な日付フィールドまたは日時フィールド付きで作成されているグラフは、「グラフデータ」エリアに「アニメーション」オプションが表示されます。

アニメーションは日付データを使用してグラフをフレームに分割します。これは、セクションがテーブルをサブテーブルに分割するのによく似ています。アニメーションフィールドとして「年」などの日付フィールドを選択するだけで、Yellowfinによって年（値）ごとのフレームが作成されます。「レポートプレビュー」ページに戻ると、アニメーションを再生したり、ナビゲーションボタンを使用してフレームを順番に確認したりできます。

また、レポート作成者に各フレームのラベルを提示するために、「レポート名」ではなく、「グラフタイトル」オプションを変更して「アニメーション」の「フィールド」を表示することをお勧めします。

注意： アニメーションオプションは、レポートで日付フィールドが使用されている場合のみ使用可能です。また、アニメーションは日より年のような上位レベルのデータ向けであるため、過剰な数のフレームを作成しない日付フィールドを使用するように留意する必要があります。

シリーズの設定

シリーズの選択が完了すると、シリーズのシステム構成パネルに適用するシリーズが表示されます。

シリーズのシステム構成パネルでは、選択したシリーズのスタイルや色を設定できます。デフォルト値が適用されますが、この値は各シリーズを管理することで変更することができます。

シリーズの設定で利用可能な選択肢は、選択したグラフのタイプとデータに条件付き書式が適用されているかどうかによって変わります。
